DO I NEED TO ATTEND A PROGRAM KICKOFF EVERY QUARTER?
No, you only need to attend one program kickoff, which will be held before you join the 4 quarterly workshops. New kickoffs are offered every quarter for new CEOs that have joined the Network in the prior 3 months, but once you have attended a kickoff, you do not need to attend another.
WHAT IS THE COST TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM?
There is no cost to participate in the New Executive Leadership Onboarding program for CEOs and Executive Directors of local United Ways. Because the content we will be sharing is critical to the success of our network, we want to make sure that all United Ways have an opportunity to benefit. Although the event is free, you will still need to register to participate.
I NEED TO CANCEL, WHAT DO I DO?
We’re sorry you can’t join us! Because this event is free, there are no cancellation fees. Please follow the instructions in the confirmation email you received upon registration for instructions on how to modify your registration record to indicate that you will not be able to attend particular sessions.
WHEN CAN I JOIN THIS PROGRAM?
This program is designed for any United Way CEOs or Executive Directors who are within the first 12 months of their tenure. You can attend the first program kickoff offered (once per quarter) after your official hire date.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
All you need to do is register! You can do so my clicking the ‘Register’ button on the top right side of the website navigation bar and follow the prompts. From there, you will receive email instructions on how to prepare for and join your sessions, so keep an eye on your inbox!
WHAT TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS ARE NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE?
Participants need a laptop or desktop computer with a reliable internet connection. Note that tablets do not support the console. Google Chrome is the recommended browser for best performance, although other browsers are supported. Details on system requirements and troubleshooting tips can be found in the pre-event materials distributed the week of the event.
WILL SESSIONS BE RECORDED?
Yes! All sessions will be recorded and available for on-demand consumption after the event. The link to the recordings will be emailed to you, as well as posted in the private Workplace by Facebook group designed especially for participants in this program.
WHAT TIME ZONE IS THIS EVENT HOSTED IN?
The agenda we will distribute before the event is set in eastern time (UTC -4). We encourage you to attend live however if you have a critical conflict, content will be provided on-demand after the event for you to catch up at your convenience.
