On Tuesday, July 23, registration materials will be available to be picked up at 2 PM and formal programming begins at 3 PM, followed by a welcome reception at 4:30 PM. Be sure to tell us during registration if you are planning to attend the reception so we can plan accordingly. Travelers should confirm their event registration before making nonrefundable travel plans.

Whether you have already registered for the Advocacy Forum and Capitol Hill Day or want to learn more, join us on May 22 at 3 PM ET to get an overview of this year’s new additions to the event and the Network asks we will be advocating for during Hill meetings. We will cover logistics and content as well as tips to help with scheduling meetings with Congressional offices. Please bring your questions and join us!

This webinar will help United Ways prepare for the July 25 Hill Day with a briefing on the policy asks, talking points and resources and an overview of what to expect during Hill meetings with Congressional offices. We will also provide tips to maximize the Executive Branch Partnerships Summit and how to navigate Capitol Hill for your meetings with your Congressional Representatives, Senators and their staff.

This world-cafe-style session is an opportunity to connect with peers from United Ways across the country to learn about your local efforts, policy wins, and get to know one another to see how you may collaborate and support each other's work. The session will include connection with United Ways based on metro size and areas of policy priorities.
4:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Discover strategies for leveraging volunteer, partner, and donor relationships to help you navigate challenging political environments and achieve policy goals. This round-table session offers the opportunity to connect with peers from across the country on topics that include navigating bipartisan challenges, translating impactful work into policy influence, and developing resources.
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Join Angela F. Williams, CEO of United Way Worldwide and Rosie Allen-Herring, CEO of the United Way of the National Capital Area, for food, refreshment, and entertainment at the Advocacy Forum Welcome Reception.

Join Byron Garrett, Executive Vice President of Government Partnerships at United Way Worldwide, as he hosts a panel discussion featuring insights and experiences from three local CEOs on leveraging government partnerships. Learn how they've utilized programmatic approaches to partner with government leaders and drive a local change agenda.

The Partnership Summit, organized in collaboration with the Department of Commerce, offers an opportunity to engage and amplify opportunities for collaboration at both the national and community levels regarding program implementation, policy, and community engagement. Join the Commerce Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships (OFBNP) in Washington, DC, for this unique and informative experience. The session will include an opportunity to build out a framework for government partnership with peers and panelists that will help provide a roadmap for revenue diversification.
