 WHAT OUR ATTENDEES SAY

"[Donor-Centered Fundraising] was so much more than I expected! After eight years at my local United Way, this course was just what I needed to renew my energy and confidence. This has spilled over to my team too – we have been busy reimagining our corporate relationships, using data differently (and more effectively!), refocusing on our donors as our customers and lighting a fire under our campaign volunteers! The best part, though, was the people – I left feeling connected to and supported by the UWW team and my peers from local UW’s across the country. Hands down, a great experience."

"Fantastic learning opportunity! Great way to connect with UWW team, as well as your UW counterparts throughout the country. Whether you're brand new to UW or simply need a refresher, this seminar is worth it. You leave with amazing, hands-on tools that you can use to inform your work, you can bounce ideas and best practices off one another, and most importantly, all the ways you can become an indispensable community partner to the companies and donors United Way serves."

“Overall, I think this training is HIGHLY effective for resource development/community impact/marketing staff and CRITICAL to succeeding in these roles and [the] United Way system overall.”

“As a newer United Way employee, I appreciated learning about aspects of the organization that I had no idea about (GCL, campaign cabinets, etc.). I came into the organization at the height of campaign season, so a lot of the methodology and practices were foreign to me. I now have a better grasp of the ‘why’ behind what we do and feel well-equipped to move forward into the 2019 fiscal year.”
