ADVOCACY FORUM & CAPITOL HILL DAY
The Advocacy Forum and Capitol Hill Day is United Way’s signature public policy and advocacy event where leaders from across the network gather for updates on our collective policy priorities and to connect and exchange with colleagues. While in the nation’s capital, attendees build and strengthen relationships with federal lawmakers and will have an opportunity to share the extensive impact United Way has on constituencies and communities. The most recent Advocacy Forum & Capitol Hill Day was held on June 13-15, 2022 in Alexandria, VA.

- Facilitate networking, learning, and knowledge sharing between and among United Ways on public policy issues.

"[The most beneficial aspect of this event was] learning new and effective communication strategies, how to use advocacy to create value in our local United Way, and actual time with Congresspeople."
"I appreciated the broad perspective of presenters so it was not just a how to advocate, but this is how x works from different points of view"
